The Emory Experience Shuttle is a College Council-funded program allowing Emory undergrads to explore Atlanta…

Planned and executed as weekend excursions, the shuttle is an opportunity for you and your friends to see different sites in Atlanta regardless of what transportation you have available to you. Emory Experience is commencing its fifth year as a popular Saturday event. Our schedule will be published on this website, flyers, and magnets. For more weekly detailed information please refer to our College Council Facebook Page.

College Council is always open to suggestions for new locations and new ways of doing the program. If you’d like to make a recommendation or ask a question please contact our Chiefs-of-Staff, Bisi Adeyemo and Tori Glebocki

Little Five Points (also L5P or LFP or Little Five) is a district on the east side of Atlanta, Georgia, United States, 2 12 miles east of downtown. It was established in the early 1900s as the commercial district for the adjacent Inman Park and Candler Park neighborhoods, but has since become famous for the alternative culture it brings to Atlanta. It has been described as Atlanta’s answer to Haight-Ashbury, a melting pot of sub-cultures, and the Bohemian center of the Southern United States.

Notable Attractions:

The Vortex Bar and Grill (some of the best college student pub food around) features delicious mouthwatering burgers to the heart stopping “Triple Cornary By-Pass” burger, it’s sure to be a great place to stop by. Oh, did we mention that Adam Richman, an Emory alumn and host of Travel Channel’s Man vs. Food, loved this place in college, and the place was featured on the show?! Be warned though, you must be 18 or older to enter, because it is still considered a bar. Check it out. It’s definitely worth the experience.
